Settings
Step 1: Understand the Purpose
- The Basic Settings Page allows admins to configure core behaviours of the Paptra application.
- These settings affect how data is saved, how notifications are handled, and whether data is pushed to external APIs.

Step 2: Manage Notifications
- Find the Notifications setting.
- Toggle the switch to On to receive alerts for important updates.
- Toggle to Off to disable notifications.
Step 3: Configure Auto-Save
- Locate the Auto_save setting under the "general" tab.
- Toggle the switch to On to enable automatic saving of extracted data.
- A modal will appear prompting you to select the number of days for which the data should be retained.
- Available options range from 7 to 365 days.
- After the selected duration, the data will be deleted and no longer accessible.
- Confirm your selection to activate auto-save.

Step 4: Control API Push
- Locate the Api_push setting.
- Toggle the switch to On to automatically push extracted data to an external API during processing.
- Toggle to Off to disable API integration.
Step 5: Configure Mail Service Automation
The Mail Service Automation module enables intelligent email processing for invoice extraction and data capture.

Navigate to the Automation tab and locate the Mail_service setting.

Toggle the switch to On to enable automated email processing.

A configuration modal will appear with the following fields:

Email Address: Enter the mailbox to monitor for incoming messages.

App Password: Provide a secure, application-specific password from your email provider (e.g., Gmail).

Provider: Select a supported provider or choose Custom to manually enter IMAP details.
When Custom is selected, fill in:
- IMAP Host (e.g., imap.gmail.com)
- IMAP Port (e.g., 993)

Time Interval: Choose how often the system checks for new emails:
- Options include 10 Minutes, 15 Minutes, 2 Hours, 3 Hours, and more.

Keywords: Enter comma-separated keywords to filter emails by subject line
- Only emails matching these keywords will be processed.

Template: Select one predefined template to define how extracted data or attachments are processed.

Enable Multi-Page Processing: Toggle this switch to allow processing of multi-page attachments.

Click Confirm to save and activate the email automation workflow.

Click Cancel to discard changes.

Step 6: Configure Auto Extraction Automation
The Auto Extraction Automation module enables intelligent template auto-detection for document uploads.

Navigate to the Automation tab and locate the Auto Extraction setting.

Toggle the switch to On to enable automated template classification.

A configuration modal will appear with the following fields:
- Configure Auto-Extraction: Enable intelligent automation. If auto-detection fails (e.g. no matching keywords found), the system will use the Default Template selected below as a safety net.
- Fallback Default Template: Select one predefined template from the dropdown menu to serve as your backup processing profile.This template is used only when no specific rule matches the uploaded document.
- Click Enable Automation to save and activate the intelligent template routing workflow.
- Once automation is successfully enabled, the template selection field on the main Service page will automatically update and lock onto Auto Detect mode.
- Click Cancel to discard changes.
